Are you My SoulMate?

Throughout my life I have heard the saying, 'Life is too short to wait on the sidelines, and/or it's a one shot deal.' In the past few years I have realized that life is too short to wait for what you truly want. Before I continue 'More About Me' it should be noted that I have a 4 year old child that lives with me. Please don't waste yours or mine time if children aren't part of what you had in mind. Also, I'm not here for a one night stand, I want a friendship that builds into a long term relationship. I consider myself an optimistic person, who loves to laugh and make those around me laugh. I will admit, that I can be a smart-mouth around those that I am comfortable with. I keep my family and friends close-knit, after all they are what we have in this big world. In January 2010 I returned to college to obtain my Bachelor's in a field that my heart and passion are in. I am hoping to find that special someone that is down to earth, enjoys to relax at home, as well as going out for a night on the town. I do appreciate when a guy opens the door for me, is the first to make the call and/or text, and takes that 'out of comfort zone' step to see if a friendship could be more. I find it a turn on feature if a guy is willing to show his affections not only in the privacy of one's home but also when out within public. I feel that a guy that is able to show his affections toward his 'special someone' in public has the confidence to back what he says.
