I'm a smart gal and have been accused of being quite witty as well. I'm a positive, glass half full type, who believes as Anne Frank did - "despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart." I love to read! For me, reading is an opportunity to divorce myself from the day-to-day-ness and slip into a fantasy for a while. I enjoy concerts of all kinds of music (ok, not rap, hip-hop, or other noise masquerading as music). I like going to the movies, and the theatre. I enjoy the beach, I love the feel of the sun on my skin, the sea breeze in my hair, and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I love to gaze out at the horizon, and feel my mind calm. I'm a kid at heart and I adore Disneyland; I just never outgrew the wonder and amazement of the Happiest Place on Earth. I'm a typical Taurean if you go for that sort of thing. I'm somewhat stubborn, a lover of beautiful things, and family is very important to me. I'm looking for a man 40-ish to 60-ish, local to Southern California. I'd love to meet someone to go out and explore new things with. I want romance! I want to feel I'm important to the man in my life. I want someone to wrap my arms around and press my face into his chest, shutting out all the stresses of life for a moment and simply feeling his warmth. Ultimately - I want to love - and be loved in return - not so much to ask, is it?
